BUFFY

I WROTE BUFFY! Which was only the show of my heart for the latter part of my adolescence. [personal profile] quinara, I blame you and Spike. Also, insomnia.Though the blame for my lol!villanelle rests with me and my reliance on esoteric stanzaic forms.

Series: Buffy (yeah).
Rating/Warnings: G. Poetry!fic.

A girl who holds her stake straight in a fight

She leaves a rim of lipstick on her glass

She moves through death and pries apart the night.

She runs down tarmac under streaky light

She jerks out of her death and into farce

A girl who holds her stake straight in a fight.

She grabs a cellphone, keys, the likely right,

She leaves an ex behind to hold the pass.

She moves through death and pries apart the night.

She held her little sister, held on tight

White fences and the long green lines of grass

A girl who holds her stake straight in a fight

She leapt straight down and shattered into light

She opened up her knuckles after class

She moves through death and pries apart the night.

She spears her pancake and she takes a bite

She moves through dust clouds and the thud of bass.

A girl who holds her stake straight in a fight

She moves through death and pries apart the night.

Haha, yes! I'm totally gonna do it. I've caught almost all of Angel over the years (it played (plays?) in the mornings as I get ready for school/work/life) and I've heard that Buffy is way more fun.

And I know I remember this one episode where they were all singing. I'm pretty sure there were corsets, bright-red bras, and badly patterned men's shirts involved.
