I confess that I...never finished Twin Peaks, even though I have all the DVDs. In the middle of season one I happened to catch The Movie, went: "That's the killer?!" and then just stopped, for reasons unknown. It was probably a sense of the anticlimactic, even though I knew intellectually that Laura Palmer's murder was a MacGuffin. Or maybe it was that that show always gave me a terrible craving for pie. I'll have to watch it again--though if I do it now, my white_lotus Lunar New Year giftee will get a very...interesting present.
