Yeah, exactly - I mean, Avatar in general is so great at reminding one that you really shouldn't be willing to settle when it comes to expecting a bit of, y'know, nuance and subtlety and respect when it comes to depicting Asian cultures in Western fantasy, that I suppose I'm more willing than I usually would be to give them the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the five minutes or whatever of Airbender flashback that we got? As opposed to, say, the Guru, who is just lol tokenistic stereotype popping up here, oh why, Avatar:(
